Elden Ring: How to get the Golden Scarab

Elden Ring offers a variety of improvements and tools for players to use on their trip across the Lands Between. Talismans in Elden Ring are similar to rings in past FromSoftware games in that they are equipable tools that grant a number of boosts to the player, ranging from increased damage to increased item finding.

The Golden Scarab is a talisman that boosts the number of runes earned by beating opponents. This can let players level up their characters or purchase other materials and supplies while roaming across the game and fighting various enemies and bosses.

Where to find the Golden Scarab

FromSoftware does an excellent job of motivating players to explore the world and to constantly question what is possible in the game. After fighting the Cleanrot Knight (Spear) and Cleanrot Knight (Spear), the Golden Scarab can be obtained at the end of the Abandoned Cave (Sickle). Because of the two-on-one nature of the encounter, this boss comes near the end of the cave and might be a problem for lower-leveled players.

Scarlet Rot, a deadly disease, could also have a role. In this encounter, players collect Scarlet Rot by standing in the pools around the arena and being hit by Cleanrot Knight strikes.

The cave can be found in Caelid and the Dragonbarrow. Players should proceed east from the Smoldering Wall Site of Grace to the canyon that runs between the two areas. Players should be able to see the entrance to the Abandoned Cave on the opposite side of the canyon and use their mount to double jump across the canyon. The location of the map can be found in the images below.
