Elden Ring: Where to Find Master Lusat

The Sorceress Sellen questline, which has you searching down Master Lusat, is a must-do for the Astrologer Class. This quest to uncover the Sorceress Sellen's old teacher is a difficult one, requiring you to enter the Sellia Hideaway using Sellen's Spellbreaker. We'll show you where to find Master Lusat in Elden Ring in this tutorial.

Where to Find Master Lusat in Elden Ring

This is the ideal place to start if you have the Sellia Under-Stair Sellia Site of Grace. You can walk directly to the Church of the Plague if you've already lifted the curse in Sellia that was blocking the entryway at the Erdtree seedling. Master Lusat may be found inside the Hideaway, which is a hidden cave.

If Sellia is still cursed, you'll need to light the three braziers to lift the curse and remove the enormous barrier that's preventing you from progressing. After that, you'll be able to go through the Sellia Backstreets Site of Grace and up to the Church of Plague.

The ascent to the church is perilous. You'll come across a bunch of skeletons rising from the ground on the first ramp up. When you reach the second ramp, two boulders will emerge out of nowhere to obstruct your progress. The Church of Plague and a Site of Grace are ahead, but there are two bug-like foes in your way.

As you walk north from the church, you'll pass through the graveyard path, where a number of skeletons will spawn. Following the trail, you'll come upon a massive rotting tree and, to the right, a large tombstone with a figure standing in front. This gravestone hides the secret wall. You can enter the Sellia Hideaway by slamming your head against the wall. The image above indicates the exact location of the hidden wall if you're having difficulties finding it. Look for the large tombstone; the wall behind it is an illusion wall.

Once inside, take a moment to pause at the site of grace before continuing on. If you walk directly into the cave, you'll notice that it's quite dark. If you have a torch, it will suffice, but if you haven't already, a lantern is preferable. When you reach what appears to be a dead-end, simply smack the wall ahead of you to proceed. Inside the tunnel, you'll see a number of miners going about their work.

You can take them out in the same way you would at any other Elden Ring mining outpost. There are a few more hidden walls in the cavern, but they should be rather evident given the lack of other options. You'll come to an open region with a pit as you break through the final one. You'll want to keep going down into the hole and north until you discover the magically locked door.

When you examine it, you'll notice that you'll need a Sealbreaker to proceed. You should have the Sealbreaker from Sellen and have finished many other aspects of this quest if you're on it. Behind the sealed barrier will be Master Lusat.
