Here, we'll show you how to get started tuning cars in Gran Turismo 7.
How to tune cars in Gran Turismo 7
You'll be learning the ropes and selecting your first car from a used car lot when you first start out. After a while, you'll discover that its performance rating deviates from what is recommended in racing competitions. Don't worry, if you just go through the Gran Turismo Cafe normally, you'll end up at Menu Book No. 6, Tune a Classic Car.
This objective requires you to adjust a 1965 Mini Cooper S to a 360 or better performance rating so that you can race it in the events mentioned in Menu Book No.7 European Hot Hatches. Menu Book No. 6 is your introduction to the parts shop, which will come in handy when it comes to keeping your vehicles in good working order.
You'll also notice that car parts are divided into multiple tiers, such as Sports, Club Sports, Semi-Racing, and so on. These tiers will improve your automobiles' skills to perform better, but they will not be unlocked right away. To raise your Collector Level, you'll need to unlock more automobiles, either by purchasing them or winning them. The highest-end parts will be available to you after you reach a certain level.
Certain automobiles, however, will be restricted. Some suspensions, intercoolers, and turbochargers will not be compatible with weight reduction or specific suspensions, intercoolers, or turbochargers. This will become clearer as you purchase and win cars that perform significantly better, typically with performance ratings of 550 or above.
