Lost Ark: What is the best class to play solo
In team-based dungeon-crawlers like Lost Ark, classes are expected to provide at least one of three key assets to their teammates: tackiness, damage output, or assistance.
Even with the possible availability of up to three additional life-living players, creating and managing these teams through dungeon after dungeon can be challenging on the ordinary player's schedule, thus many players will likely find themselves roughing it alone for most of their growth.
While it's true that allowing classes to synergize substantially improves the gameplay experience in Lost Ark, some classes are intrinsically better at tanking, DPS, and healing on their own than others.
Paladin: The all-class class
Despite playing a broad generalist role in solo and group combat, the Paladin appears to specialize in the one thing that matters most in combat: remaining alive until everyone else is dead.
Tanking
While not as tough as his Gunlancer peers, the Paladin is nonetheless a Warrior subclass – a lumbering, melee-oriented mountain of armor with an above-average health bar and readily available healing talents who is at ease when confronted with possible threats.
DPS
While his offensive talent lacks the flair and overwhelms of a true DPS class, his wide, easy-to-position AoE spells passively cleave through dungeon swarms and keep incoming enemies out of reach.

- Holy Explosion
Support and Healing
Even when he has no colleagues to protect him, the Paladin keeps his one-man party in fighting shape. While Holy Protection is intended to significantly increase the total health of his comrades, it also applies to him, which can cause his mountainous health bar to become too steep for most adversaries to climb.
In addition, whether or not the Paladin is dealing damage with others, his Piety Meter is charged. When fighting alone, however, his Holy Aura bonus has no teammates to target, therefore he has no reason not to use Sacred Executioner to increase his own damage as much as possible. A small increase in DPS can go a long way when a single Paladin is the only active player dealing damage.
