By depicting Kratos as a father to Atreus in the 2018 God of War, the series was fully revitalized, and more people were interested in him. That being said, we are unlikely to forget that experience anytime soon. Fortunately, we're not the only ones, since Guerilla Games' Horizon Forbidden West has a few hilarious callbacks to the game. Here's where to look for them.

Horizon Forbidden West contains three treasures that are all related to God of War. They take the form of War Totems, which are little totems.

Go to the beach just opposite the Frost Glinthawk location in the southeastern part of the map to find the Totems of Brotherhood. You'll find a hammer in the body of a dead Widemaw. Go up to it and examine it, and Aloy will say that it was manufactured by some skilled forgers. Scan the area with your attention and follow the path to find Brok and Sindri's totems in a small cave on the island.

Totem of War

Head up the mountain to the east of the Greenhouse to find the Totem of War. A snowy cottage may be found at the Sunwing Site. A totem depicting Kratos can be found beneath the roof to its left.

Totem of Youth

You must travel near the Stormbird Site, which is located west of Legacy's Landfall, to obtain the Totem of Youth. When you arrive, be prepared for a fight. Seek out the rusted bridge with the bus parked underneath it. A totem that resembles Atreus sits atop that bridge.

You'll be able to use the Mark of War face paint once you've acquired all three totems. To equip it, go to any Face Painter and purchase it for 10 Metal Shards.
