Tunic: How to get the Hero’s Grave key
Tunic doesn't provide you a lot of guidance on what to do right away. If you've ever played a Zelda game, you'll know that going alone is risky, and you should definitely bring a sword with you. The stick you found at the start isn't going to cut it. You must first visit the Hero's Grave in order to locate the sword. There are signposts pointing you in the right path, but if you follow them, you'll end yourself at a locked door.
Don't worry; getting the key to the door is fortunately quite simple. Head north (isometrically, at the top-left of the screen) from where you started in Tunic until you find a statue of a fox hunched in front of a brazier. Turn left and proceed down a flight of stairs to the bridge. The key will be lying on the ground in plain sight there.
If you haven't done so already, you might want to stop at the "locked door" before proceeding to the Hero's Grave. Simply continue north until you reach a massive gold threshold. A little stay here will aid in the deciphering of Tunic's larger story. When you're ready, you can resume your search for your blade.
