Tunic: What do coins do?
The humble coin, which can be discovered in numerous chests across the globe, is one of the most useful things and treasures to find in Tunic. You've probably stumbled across a few of these valuable trinkets on your travels, but their function of them remains a mystery.
The handbook holds the key to understanding the operation of coins, as well as many other game mechanics and secrets. You'll see that coins have something to do with equipping accessories if you collect page 20, which may be discovered at the summit of the Overworld's mountain. The image of your fox holding a coin over a well in the bottom-left corner is crucial.
You may have seen wishing wells in different parts of the world. One is near the Old House, while another is near the first shrine in the West Garden. It's as simple as putting coins in one of your item slots and clicking the button when you're near a well to use them. Your fox will undoubtedly toss the coin in and make a wish.
Nothing will happen at first, but after a few coins, you'll be able to add an accessory in a new slot. After three coins, you'll unlock the first new space, then three more, then four, then five, for a total of 15 coins, according to the handbook.
