Call of Duty Warzone: How to unlock Junkyard Jet Sledgehammer

In Warzone, there is already one Sledgehammer, but in the Season 3 update, the Vanguard developers are giving their eponymous weapon a new twist. This beater, codenamed Junkyard Jet, is a touch different from the original. Both the classic arena shooter and Warzone will receive new weapons in the coming months, as with every season change in the Vanguard era. While some, such as the M1916 Marksman Rifle and the Nikita NVT Assault Rifle, will be available right away, others will arrive later in the process.

How to unlock Junkyard Jet Sledgehammer in Warzone & Vanguard

The newest melee weapon will not be available until the Season 3 Reloaded update, which is expected to arrive later this summer. While there are few details at this time, we do know that the hammer can be obtained by completing a melee challenge in either game. Anyone who completed the requirements for the Welgun and Armaguerra unlocks from previous seasons will be familiar with how this works. If you don't want to go through the entire challenge, a bundle will be available in the franchise shop that will give you instant access to the bludgeoning tool.

Sledgehammer's Sledgehammer may not introduce any new gameplay mechanics, but it does have a distinctive look and will almost certainly feature distinctive animations. This one will take a while to arrive in-game, but the developers have promised that more information will be released as the date approaches.
