Overwatch 2 Beta: How to get Twitch Drops

The Overwatch 2 Beta begins tomorrow, and enthusiastic fans are hoping to be among the first to try it out. The beta will demonstrate the new features of the long-awaited sequel, as well as give players the opportunity to try out the new hero Sojourn. Some people, however, may not be so fortunate and will not be able to participate in the beta on the first day. Thankfully, Twitch and Activision Blizzard have teamed up to offer special Twitch Drops that will grant entry to the beta to watchers. This event begins at 10 a.m. PT on April 27 and concludes at 6 p.m. PT the same day.

You must first link your Battle.net account to your Twitch account in order to receive Twitch Drops for the game. You may accomplish this by going to your Twitch account's Settings page and then to the Connections tab. You'll see an opportunity to link your Battle.net account there. Then, on Twitch. tv, watch a stream from one of the listed streamers. 

You must watch at least four hours of a stream and have your Battle.net account linked to your Twitch account to be eligible for any drops. You may receive a notification that you've received a drop after four hours. If you get a drop, make sure you redeem it so you can join the beta.
