Final Fantasy XIV: How to complete the Bountiful Ruins quest

The 6.1 patch for Final Fantasy XIV adds a new set of Main Scenario objectives for the Warriors of Light to complete. After finishing the Newfound Adventure task, players will be given the quest Bountiful Ruins, which asks them to delve a little deeper into the legends of this undersea vault. Speak with Tataru in Mor Dhona's Diamond Forge to get started. Tataru references Mehryde's Meyhane within Radz-at-Han, implying that the bar may be used to get further information on the mission at hand. The cost of teleporting to Radz-at-Han from The Diamond Forge is 908 Gil.

Radz-at-Han

Mehryde's Meyhane is to the northwest, once adventurers teleport to the Aetheryte crystal at Radz-at-Han. When you first walk in, you'll notice an NPC named Mihleel resting on a railing, keeping an eye on the customers. She suggests speaking with Jahleen, a red-clothed NPC with a fondness for the alcoholic beverage.

When you speak with Jalheen, you'll enter an uninterruptible cutscene in which you'll try to learn more about the undersea vault. While it's certainly not illegal to quench a thirst with a few drinks, be careful not to get Jalheen too tipsy. When the cutscene begins, offer him a drink, then a second drink. After that, he'll order one on his own, and you'll need to request water from Mihleel. All of Jalheen's information will be successfully harvested as a result of this, but there are likely to be further successful encounters.

The second interaction you have is with Azahma, an NPC merchant who stands between the dancing stage and the bar. Azahma is more forthcoming with the information, revealing that one of his pals has gone missing in quest of the vault and that he learned the vault's location from another trader named Zasshal. After speaking with Azahma, adventurers will discover Zasshal through a cutscene, where Estinien appears unexpectedly among the rabble in search of a proposed treasure map. Speak with Estinien after the cutscene to get a ship ready for the open seas. Mount up in Thavnair (southeast) and teleport to Yedlihman, with Akyaali in your sights to the west.

The quest turn-in may be found on the beach's edge, where Estinien is conversing with Matsya. Following a surprising twist in the following sequence, you'll be charged with reuniting some of the renowned Scions of the Seventh Dawn. While the dialogue makes it appear as if you must choose one group of Scions, you are actually learning where all of the Scions have gone. To begin the next quest in the Main Scenario quest for 6.1, Friends for the Road, speak with Estinien. Take heart: the upcoming adventures will include some combat.
