Final Fantasy XIV: How to complete the Friends for the Road quest

Patch 6.1 of Final Fantasy XIV expands the Main Scenario questline with new adventures including some old people. Friends for the Road begins along the shoreline of Akyaali, where Warriors of Light are preparing to reconnect members of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, following the Bountiful Ruins mission.

The Northern Empty

Aetheryte should be used to go to the Baldesion Annex in Old Sharlayan of The Northern Empty. After teleporting in, head west and chat with Ojika Tsunjika to get access to the main hall, where you can speak with Krile and G'raha Tia about Alzadaal III's rumored treasure hall.

G'raha Tia joins the expedition after the cutscene, and then it's off to the library west for the pristine Y'shtola. After finishing the cutscene, enter the map and go to the Aporia in Labyrinthos' Central Circuit. To drop-down, enter the building east of the Aetheryte and speak with the lift operator.

Urianger, the Astrologian-turned-Lithomancer, can be found beneath the ship and begins his normal long-winded diatribe. While Thancred is required to attend owing to the cutscene, he declines to do so in order to keep the group from attracting too much attention. Return to Thavnair, travel to Akyaali, and turn in the quest along the coast, where Estinien has plainly completed the youngster's escort.

The expedition is nearly begun, as the surveying party has been established from reliable Scions members. Alzadaal's Legacy is the next quest in the Main Scenario, and it may eventually reveal the whole legend of Alzadaal III.
