Final Fantasy XIV: What are the Series Malmstones?

With the release of the Newfound Adventure 6.1 update, a number of changes have been made to Final Fantasy XIV. Several of these improvements were made to improve the game's PvP, with many Jobs receiving significant updates. The addition of the Series Malmstones was in the backdrop. What are Final Fantasy XIV's Series Malmstones? Here's everything you need to know about it.

The Series Malmstones may be found under the Character Selection tab on the bottom right of your UI whenever you're viewing your PvP Profile. You'll notice a small tab named Series Malmstones on the upper-right side of your PvP Profile after clicking on it. When you click it, a website will appear that shows your total Series Malmstone progress. As you go through the current PvP Series, you can acquire all of these awards.

Between major updates, Final Fantasy XIV will host a PvP Series. Final Fantasy XIV's Series 1 was released as part of the Newfound Adventure 6.1 Update, for example. The Series will run until version 6.2 is released, which might take months, allowing everyone plenty of chances to acquire the available awards.

As you finish PvP matches, pitting your talents against other players on your data center, you'll get access to more levels and rewards.
