Genshin Impact: How to unlock People Of The Valley Of Life Achievement

Although Sumeru is not yet accessible in Genshin Impact, a secret Achievement dubbed "People Of The Valley Of Life" is already exposing knowledge about the country. The Shriveled Seed is an item required for obtaining the "People Of The Valley Of Life" Achievement. It may be found in a subarea of The Chasm underground map that appears to have links to Sumeru. This tutorial will show you how to go to the Sumeru-like location in The Chasm and obtain the Shriveled Seed.

Obtain the Shriveled Seed in The Chasm

You must enter a hidden cave at the teleport waypoint south of The Chasm: Main Mining region on the underground map to reach the Shriveled Seed section. Head southwest from the Teleport Waypoint until you come across a Luminous Seelie, who will lead you to the cave's entrance. Follow the Seelie until you get to a wall with two Geo Exploding Barrels.

Attack the Barrels to cause them to explode, destroying the wall that is obstructing your way to the Sumeru-like area. Huge tree branches may be seen as you progress deeper into the cave. Paimon's conversation will surface, describing small, gleaming buds on the trees. To see the buds, she will advise you to use your Elemental Sight. When you reach the cave's end, you'll find a closed Exquisite Chest with three Elemental Totems: Anemo, Geo, and Electro Totem. Dendro Slimes will also be present in the area. To avoid being distracted while attempting to complete the Elemental Totem problem, eliminate the Dendro Slimes.

Look for the three little, shiny buds on the tree branches to unlock the Exquisite Chest and Elemental Totems. Make sure your party has an Anemo, Electro, and Geo character. Every time you touch one of the little, shiny buds, an Elemental Totem is unlocked. Use your character's Elemental Skill to activate each Elemental Totem based on the element listed on them.

The Exquisite Chest will be opened once all three Elemental Totems have been activated. To get the Shriveled Seed and the People Of The Valley Of Life Achievement, open the chest. Paimon will then inform you that the Shriveled Seed reminds her of a Sumeru narrative, implying that the location has a Sumeru connection.
