Unfortunately, the number of games played in a Franchise season cannot be changed, but that doesn't mean there aren't alternative ways to hurry things up. Players can pick whether they want to play all nine innings or manage their team when they enter a game. Those wishing to save time should opt for the latter, which mimics the game inning by inning and allows you to jump in and out whenever you want.

Franchise also has options for cutting down on the length of presentations and pitch counts. These will be displayed after you select a stadium before a game. Fans of the franchise should also try out Diamond Dynasty's new Mini Seasons feature. It's the only game with a 28-game season against CPU opponents, 3-inning games, and a four-team playoff.
