MLB The Show 22: Which players are the league collection rewards in Diamond Dynasty?

Baseball The Show 22 is here, and with a new year comes new cards and collections. Collections include Live Series and Flashback/Legends cards for those new to MLB The Show. San Diego Studios has provided players special cards in recent editions for those who can obtain all Live Series goods for a certain team. Even better awards can be gained if you complete all collections for each league. In MLB The Show 21, Alfonso Soriano, David Ortiz, and Chipper Jones were the three league winners last year. Who are the MLB The Show 22 collection rewards? We now have the answers, thanks to the Diamond Dynasty Featured Premiere.

The league collecting reward for the American League is a 99 OVR MVP Awards item of "The Big Hurt" by Frank Thomas. Thomas, a member of the 500-home-run club in Major League Baseball, has been frequently in MLB The Show in recent years. This card can now be gotten by collecting all Live Series cards, earning the three division collection awards (96 OVR Michael Young, 96 OVR Mike Mussina, and 93 OVR Grady Sizemore), and finishing every team collection for all 15 AL teams.

Roberto Clemente is the primary award of the National League. All NL team collections must be completed in order to unlock the three division rewards: 97 OVR Chase Utley, 96 OVR Kenley Jansen, and 92 OVR Prince Fielder. The Milestone Clemente will then be available to players. If you earn both the Clemente and Thomas cards, you'll be able to get the main prize for The Show 22, a 99 OVR Signature Series card of legendary left-handed pitcher Randy Johnson, if you put them both in the MLB collection.

Remember that in order to get Johnson, players must complete the collections of all 30 teams. Due to trades and call-ups, the Live Series collections will alter during the year. If additional cards are added to a team after it has been completed, you will not need to complete them again.
