Walker Brains, which was added with the Frontiers update, is one of these objects, however, it's unknown what it's for. Where do you get Walker Brains?

Walker Brains can be found at a few locations in No Man's Sky. The most obvious is from a Sentinel Walker, but to provoke and lure one out, you'll need to land on a planet with a strong Sentinel presence and start a fight with the machines. After killing the machine, you can loot the Walker Brain from its body. Walker Brains can also be obtained through the Mercenaries Guild Envoy, in Suspicious Packets, or as a prize from mission board or Nexus assignments. However, fighting a Sentinel Walker is the quickest method to get some Walker Brains.

All Walker Brains crafting recipes

Walker Brains are only used in two recipes. The following are the details.

• 1 Conflict Scanner = 1 Walker Brains + 1 Wiring Loom
• 1 Explosive Drone = 1 Walker Brains + 50 Gold
