The hundreds of crystals you'll collect by eliminating opponents and completing encounters are one of the most important aspects of the Chaos Chamber. These crystals are utilized to obtain blessings, ammo, health, and loot throughout your Chaos Chamber run. The more crystals you collect, the more you can purchase. Completing challenges and collecting curses from the Dragon Lord will earn you extra crystals.

Destroying Kwartz crystals is one of the challenges you can perform to get extra crystals. These crystals are quite huge, and they stand out against the background. You'll see a health bar when you lay your reticle on one of these gems. When you destroy one of these crystals, an adversary will appear. Not just any enemy, but a top-tier foe.
