Elden Ring: How to Easily Beat Radahn
Over a month after the game's release, gamers are still finding new ways to defeat big and little adversaries, and one of the most recent strategies revealed this week involves making Radahn beat himself. That's right, you may make the boss's proud, star-controlling, gravity-defying boss tumble to his death in exchange for some simple Runes, the boss's Great Rune, and the chance to grab his armor and weapons. The only caveat is that you must first reduce him to half health, which is a lot easier than asking someone to reduce a boss from 100 to 0.
The trick is to first reduce Radahn's health to half. The player and their loadouts determine how this occurs, however even if you don't have the greatest Elden Ring build, you may still whittle him down quickly enough by using bleed damage, spells, or the numerous summons strewn throughout the area.
To make the plan work, you'll need to make sure Radahn is concentrating on you before he leaps into the air to start phase two of his fight. Simply move to the map's edge — this player chose the southeast corner of the arena – and you'll be right on the water's edge. While Radahn prepared his divebomb strike to be withstood once it connected, the player used their Wonderous Elixir to minimize incoming damage and heal up. Radahn casts himself off the edge of the map and loses the rest of his health instantaneously, while the player receives just minor damage.
This isn't the first time this has happened in a Radahn fight, but it is one of the first prominent instances when it has been broadcast online in order to draw attention to the approach. Some may argue that this isn't "beating" Radahn, but in Elden Ring, anything can be considered cheesy depending on your perspective, and the only thing that matters is that the health meter is drained and you obtain his goodies.
Radahn was recently nerfed, however, it looks like some of the modifications were unintentional. Another update reversed some of the inadvertent changes, making him a bit more difficult once again, so if you're having trouble with him, consider this technique instead of a toe-to-toe fight.
