Elden Ring: Where to find the Bloody Helice

In Elden Ring, the Bloody Helice is a Heavy Thrusting Sword discovered in the Writheblood Ruins in the northwest corner of the Altus Plateau. Dynast's Finesse is one of the most stylish Ashes of War in the game, with a high innate blood loss buildup. When used in conjunction with a blood-infused Godskin Sticher, Great Epee, or an improved Dragon King's Cragblade, you have a potent combination. The Helice is also the weapon of choice for speedruns in All Remembrance, which kill all of the game's major bosses.

The monsters of the Writheblood Ruins, like the Helice, are exceptional at producing bleed. The quickest way to get there is to drive around the Minor Erdtree and Windmill Village on the northern route. Head east from Mt. Gelmir once you've reached the Bridge of Inequity Site of Grace. A staircase surrounded by blood slimes can be found in the easternmost set of wrecked buildings.

To get to the treasure area, go down the stairs and through the boss fog, where you must defeat the Sanguine Noble. The Noble is a hard hitter, and two or three hits from his thrown daggers, the Helice he wields, or the blood daggers he throws when you're not close enough can result in blood loss. He can also parry practically any attack in the game, so don't strike with melee weapons if he crosses his sword and knife in front of him. You'll end up with a sword lodged in your stomach.

The golden fog at the back of the room and the exit are cleared when the Sanguine Noble is defeated. To get the Bloody Helice, raise the steel door and pillage the treasure chest.

Upgrades cost Somber Smithing Stones, making them cheaper and simpler to obtain. On the initial backstep, the Dynast's Finesse Ash of War possesses invincibility frames, making the first lunge a strong counterattack. The two follow-up strikes eat up Stamina and don't cause as much damage as the original poke, so use them only when you're sure they'll connect.
