Destiny 2: How to complete the Top of Class quest

The Heir Apparent, a Machine Exotic that you can add to your burgeoning exotic collection, may be obtained through the Top of Class quest available during Destiny 2's Guardian Games 2022 event. You must first begin the Guardian Games 2022 event before you can begin the Top of the Class quest. Here's all you need to know about completing the Top of a Class task in Destiny 2 and earning the Heir Apparent exotic.

You must first complete the Best of the Class quest before beginning the Top of the Class quest. When you begin the competition, Eva will give you the Guardian Games 2022 task. To officially begin the Guardian Games, you must complete all requirements. If you haven't already, find Eva and chat with her to add the Best of Class mission to your quest tracker and finish it. Eva will give you the Top of a Class quest once you've completed it.

How to complete the Top of Class quest

Task 1

You'll need to earn at least 50 Laurels for the first phase once Top of Class is available from Eva. Because you've already completed the Best of the Class quest, everyone should be able to see this completed, and you should accept this task. If you still require Laurels, you can obtain them by utilizing your Guardian class abilities to fight opponents. If you're in the same Vanguard Strikes Fireteam as another Guardian, you can use their skills.

Task 2

For the second phase, you'll need to eliminate over 100 adversaries using a Machine Gun. You can do this with any combatant, therefore another Vanguard Strike is recommended. However, fighting Guardians with them earns you more points, so you can choose to participate in Gambit or Crucible activities, though this will take longer. You'll get the Heir Apparent unique Machine Gun after taking out the 100th adversary.
