Lost Ark is a very social game, with guilds and friends essential to complete some of the game's most difficult content. In this game, you can add friends directly, but you may realize that you already have some "Roster Friends." You might not know whether your best friend has any alternate characters when you add them as a "Friend" in Lost Ark. In fact, Lost Ark encourages all players to create a large number of other identities, as having multiple characters allows you to drastically accelerate the advancement of your primary character. In Lost Ark, adding a character as a "Friend" only makes you a friend of that specific character.
