MultiVersus: How to set up an Xbox controller

MultiVersus is a unique new fighting game that combines characters like Arya Stark with Bugs Bunny's shenanigans. It's a bizarre concept that can be played using an Xbox controller. This is how you do it.

Pick up the pad and play

It's typically a toss-up whether or not an Xbox controller works as an input when playing PC games. MultiVersus should operate with an Xbox controller natively in this situation. If not, you have a few options for your input method to explore.

Use Steam Big Picture

Steam Big Picture is an excellent tool for customizing your controller inputs and making any approach work. To get started, go to Steam's top right corner and press the square symbol with arrows on either side. Select MultiVersus from the Steam Big Picture Library after that. Once there, look to the left for "Manage..." After that, go to Steam Input and look for "Controller" Configuration." Select this option after turning on your Xbox controller.

You may need to enable Xbox One Controller Configuration compatibility first by returning to Steam Big Picture's main menu and clicking the gear symbol in the upper right corner. You may then change the Controller Settings and enable "Xbox Configuration Support" from there.

You can design your own MultiVersus inputs after enabling the Xbox controller and locating the "Xbox One Controller Configuration" page, or you can press X on the controller to discover "Browse Configs." Updating your controller’s firmware

If you're having trouble connecting your Xbox controller to the game, the PC's firmware may need to be updated. Locate the "Xbox Accessories" app in the Microsoft Store on your PC. Use a USB cable to connect your Xbox controller to your PC. Press the... icon below once you're on the app's initial screen and the controller is connected.
