Many of the Pokémon you catch in Pokémon Legends: Arceus are ones you found in the wild and learned about while compiling the first Poké Dex for the Hisuia region. By transferring them to Pokémon Home, you'll be able to take them with you to other compatible Pokémon games. How to transfer Pokémon from Legends: Arceus to Pokémon Home

When you're ready to transfer your Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Arceus to Pokémon Home, make sure you have the Pokémon Home 2.0 upgrade installed. These two applications will not be able to communicate without this upgrade. Following the 2.0 upgrade, Pokémon Legends: Arceus was able to connect to Pokémon Home. Both should work when you've updated them. We also recommend double-checking your Nintendo Switch's Pokémom Home account to make sure it's the right one.

After that, double-check that your Pokémon Legends: Arceus account is linked to Pokémon Home. This will be available once the Pokémon Home 2.0 update has been downloaded on your device. Your Pokémon Home application will display any save data available on your Nintendo Switch. You'll be able to see all of the Pokémon you've collected in the Hisuia region, as well as their pastures. Then you can choose any Pokémon in your pasture to bring to Pokémon Home. Before connecting to Pokémom Home, place any Pokémon you have on your trainer in a pasture.

You can easily place a Pokémon from Pokémon Home in other Pokémon games, such as Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl or Pokémon Sword and Shield. It's worth noting, too, that bringing a Pokémon from Legends: Arceus into these games would put it inside a Strange Ball and give it a different moveset than it had before. Not every Pokémon will be transferable to other games. They'll need to have a Poké Dex entry or even the base forms for those Pokémon.
