Risk Of Rain 2: Every Artifact Code and How To Unlock Them
Artifacts in Risk of Rain 2 are essentially gameplay tweaks that can be enabled before beginning a run. They can assist, hinder, or simply change up the gameplay in new and exciting ways. You can either search down some cleverly hidden artifact codes across the game's stages, or you can utilize our guide to do all the legwork for you.
How To Unlock Artifacts
First and foremost! To complete the game, you must reach Sky Meadow, the game's penultimate stage. You'll probably notice a floating island beneath the main area dominated by heavy machinery as you're dashing around dodging Parents and Mini Mushrum artillery. That's not just scenery; it's the Compound Generator, and you want to go there. You can get there by exploring until you uncover a hatch that leads to a land bridge that connects to it, or you can make a daring quintuple jump off the map's edge if you have enough Hopoo Feathers.
Enter An Artifact Code
You'll see an area with nine interactable pedestals that cycle between four different shapes - a cube, a triangle, a diamond, and a sphere — after you reach the Compound Generator. You'll enter the code for the artifact you'd like to unlock here. For your convenience, we've assembled every artifact code in Risk of Rain 2 here.

Enter The Portal To Bulwark’s Ambry
After entering the code, proceed to the small table in front of the code entry pedestals to interact with the laptop. A gateway will appear; proceed inside. Bulwark's Ambry, a stage made up of multiple floating, disconnected platforms, will be your destination. Take the floating Artifact Key to the Artifact Reliquary (the spherical construct) in the center, but be aware that as you engage with it, creatures will begin to spawn.
NOTE: The item you're attempting to unlock will be active at all times. Depending on the artifact, this can make the next step difficult. Your objective is to defeat creatures until a new Artifact Key appears. Collect it and deliver it to the Artifact Reliquary once it's done. You'll go through this procedure four times, and then you'll have a brand new Artifact to use on your next run.
