V Rising: How to unlock the Tannery

You'll need to start increasing your production capacities with some more complicated buildings once you've put up the fundamentals in V Rising, such as a Castle Heart, a couple Palisade Walls, and a Sawmill. This is especially vital if you want to upgrade your Castle Heart to a higher level, which necessitates the acquisition of Leather. While you can find some Leather in enemy encampments, the only way to constantly obtain it is to make it at a Tannery. And defeating Keely the Frost Archer and collecting her V Blood is the only way to get access to the Tannery.

How to beat Keely the Frost Archer

Keely can be found on the map above at the Bandit Trapper Camp. You should also pick her up in your Blood Altar to keep track of her. This may be a long journey depending on where you built your castle, so leave early in the morning to avoid the sun. It's easier to dodge the sun when traveling than it is while fighting a boss. However, we recommend achieving a Gear Score of at least 20 before embarking on the expedition.

The first step in defeating Keely is to eliminate the majority of the other adversaries in the camp. That way, you may concentrate on evading her assaults, which are all rather obvious. She'll summon a couple of allies now and then, but they're substantially weaker than her and easy to dispatch before returning your focus to her.

How to build the Tannery

It's as simple as pressing "B" to enter the build menu, then selecting the Tannery from the Production part of the Production tab. Simply choose a location in your castle to place it. You can utilize it to make a variety of materials once it's built and fueled by your Castle Heart, like turning your Animal Hides into precious Leather.
