V Rising: How to mitigate sun damage

V Rising is a brand-new game from the Battlerite creators. Players in V Rising create their own vampire and go on a quest through a vast and hazardous open world. Beyond the obvious vampire cliches like garlic and wooden stakes, one enormous presence will plague your playtime: the sun. V Rising has a full day and night cycle, and being exposed to sunlight will deplete your HP till you die. These are some short sun-protection suggestions.

Server Side Sun

Changing the sun damage in your custom game settings is one of the simplest ways to reduce it. You will be able to alter your server's setup if you play on your own PVE server. Once you've arrived at this page, you'll see a number of options that affect every part of the game. Here, two settings are crucial. The first is Time Settings, which is shown above. You may adjust how long it takes for a full day and night cycle to complete here. You may also modify how much time each day the sun and moonlight spend together. The World Settings tab is the second option to investigate. This tab has a sun strength multiplier. If you set this number to 0, you will be immune to all solar damage while roaming the open world.

Run for cover

The sun will pour down on you, and if you don't seek shade as soon as possible, you will suffer as I did in the photo above. If you are exposed to the sun for an extended period of time, you will perish swiftly, so look for any shade or cover to hide behind throughout your daytime tour. Keep in mind that the sun moves as it sets, so a safe position at first may not be safe after a time, so keep an eye out for shade. Sucking the blood of some species is another important part of preventing solar damage. At level three, creature blood has an intrinsic sun damage resistance that can help to offset a lot of burning damage. You have a few alternatives after you've finished building your castle.

Once you've completed the castle instruction, you can start working on a Mist Brazier. This contraption can be fed bones, causing the fog to appear inside your fortress, blocking sunlight. Use this equipment to assist you in building throughout the day, and a roof plan will allow you to permanently stop the sun from entering your castle in the late game.
