Arma Reforger: How to use a bandage

Arma Reforger is a sandbox military simulation game in which you'll have to battle dozens of other actual people as well as a few bots. As you traverse Everon in pursuit of bases to seize, you will be shot more frequently than you would want. You'll be left bleeding and wounded if this happens. This post will show you how to mend it with a bandage.

Step 1: Equip the bandage

You can check your status by opening the inventory screen after you've been hit. If you're in difficulty, you'll notice blood on the screen as well as the Wounded or Bleeding status effects. This requires you to access the fast choose menu, which appears at the bottom of the screen, and scroll to the bandage. In the image above, it's the black packet next to the grenade, although it'll also be identified as a bandage.

Step 2: Use the bandage

As you can see in the image above, your soldier now has the bandage on him. However, unless you've been harmed, you can't use the bandage on yourself. You can equip it and go around with it all you want, but it will only help you if you are bleeding. To utilize it, press and hold the interact button, which will halt any bleeding your soldier is experiencing.

Bandages do not heal wounds; they simply prevent bleeding. To treat your injury, you'll need a medical kit and some serious attention. You'll almost certainly die from the next bullet if you don't get it before your next battle engagement. Ask your squad for assistance, but if they are unable, return to base and collect any aid items that you can use to repair yourself.
