Destiny 2: How to get Adroit Element

One of the new mechanics in Destiny 2's Witch Queen update is weapon making. The ability to mold and shape weapons gives the weapon sandbox a new dimension. Collecting materials in this combat-focused crafting system is more difficult than finding them in the open world. This tutorial will show you where to find Adroit Element, a new resource for weapon design.

Season 17 crafting rework

Bungie has entirely redesigned most of the crafting components the witch Queen introduced in season 17, Season of the Haunted, which was launched on May 24. Outside of the neutral element, every element has been completely removed from the resource pool. With fewer materials cluttering up the works, this shift seeks to simplify the crafting system and allow for a more meaningful grind. The Adroit element is no longer an element in Destiny 2, and all references to it have been removed from player inventories and the crafting table as a result of this change. The Resonant element will be the only new crafting element in the future.

The nature of discovering and farming Adroit element does not currently exist in the sandbox due to the nature of this change, however, we will save the old information below in case this element resurfaces or is used for something new.

Adroit element before Season 17

To begin, you must first unlock the crafting system. To gain access to the Enclave and its crafting system, you must first complete the Witch Queen campaign. After completing the opening mission, you will be given the mission "Reshaping the Enigma." This questline will provide you with the resources you need to locate the Adroit element.

Any weapon drop across Destiny 2's numerous activities has a chance to drop a weapon with a red box outline once the assignment is completed. Resonant weapons are what they're called. Once you've won a resonant weapon, equip it and use it to fill up the attunement meter. This meter fills up as you get kills and complete actions like strikes or public events.

Once a weapon's attunement meter is full, you can use the Enclave to harvest the weapon's resonance. At this point, each resonant weapon will have numerous options, each comprising a variety of neutral elements as well as one of several legendary elements.

The Adroit element is one of these elements, and the best way to obtain this new resource is to extract a resonant weapon with the Adroit element. Because resonant weapons remove random elements, completing public events and discovering legendary engrams is the most efficient way to obtain more of this valuable resource.
