Destiny 2: How to get Bound Presence

Season of the Haunted in Destiny 2 adds a new item called Bound Presence. It's on the Derelict Leviathan, a ship that floats above the Moon. Calus is able to converse with the darkness when the spacecraft attempts to link with the lunar Pyramid. You and your fellow Guardians must work your way through the ship's various Nightmares and perform Nightmare Containment public events in order to receive Bound Presence and add it to your Destiny 2 inventory.

How to get Bound Presence

After completing the Nightmare Containment assignments and reaching the final rank, you can obtain Bound Presence. When you and the other Guardians fight the approaching Nightmare at this tier, you will receive a chest. You can also bind with a big Harvester if you have enough Vestiges of Dread on you. To receive a Bound Presence at the completion of this task, you'll need 500 Vestiges of Dread.

To earn the chance to gain additional Bound Presence, you'll need to perform the Nightmare Containment public event many times. When you're ready to put it to use, you'll need to take part in the Sever activities to earn more prizes.

Vestiges of Dread are the most important resource for Binding with these Nightmares. This resource can be obtained by participating in practically any activity or mission on the Derelict Leviathan, including patrols, battling monsters, completing Nightmare Containments, looting chests, and more. As long as you spend time going through the Derelict Leviathan, you can obtain as much Vestige of Dread as you like.
