V Rising: How to get Coarse Thread

As you progress through the Woodlands in V Rising, the coarse thread is one of the most valuable materials. Once you've progressed past the tutorial-crafted gear, you'll need this item to create the next tier of armor. The Nightstalker armor is one of the reasons why Coarse Thread is so appealing. To pass the tutorial, you'll need 16 coarse threads to raise your gear score. To help you out, we'll tell you where to look for Coarse Thread in V Rising.

How to find Coarse Thread in V rising

Coarse Thread can be found in abundance throughout the Farbane Woods. It's available from a number of smaller Bandit Encampments, especially those on the western and eastern sides of the forests. Then there are the woods with greater gear scores, such as Bandit Logging, Trapping, Armory, and so on. These are usually found in the destructible boxes spread across the terrain.

While the game doesn't explicitly state that Coarse Thread drops from Armor, it does, making it a good place to farm while looking for Stone Dust and Whetstones. Furthermore, creatures in certain places have a chance to drop the items, particularly those in areas where the coarse thread is specifically mentioned as a loot source. These are the topics:

The most reliable suppliers of Coarse Thread are the Logging Camps and Trapper Camps. To increase your chances of earning Coarse Thread in V Rising, you need to go here. You may also receive them from mobs who leave these locations at night and patrol, albeit these are rare drops. The sad aspect of the Coarse Thread is that there is currently no method to produce it. So it's better if you keep returning to these hazardous regions and fighting for drop opportunities. There is virtually little need for them once you have the 16 Coarse Thread.
