V Rising: How to get Cotton Yarn
Cotton Yarn, unlike many other commodities in V Rising, cannot be found by raiding and plundering enemy camps. Instead, you'll need to use a Loom to make it out of cotton. You can get cotton in Dunley Farmlands by stealing it from one of the many cotton fields there. You'll need to track down Beatrice the Tailor and collect her V Blood in order to obtain a Loom.
How to defeat Beatrice the Tailor
Beatrice the Tailor may be found in Dawnbreak Village, in the above-mentioned location. Before going over, we recommend that you have a Gear Score of at least 38. Beating Beatrice is unlike any of the other boss bouts you've had thus far. This is due to the fact that she does not fight you, but rather runs about the strongly armed village, causing you to deal with a number of guards along the route.
The simplest method to avoid this is to spend some time taking off the majority of the adversaries in the area, however, a patrol or two will almost certainly approach you during the chase. Depending on how safely you think you can dodge the guards, you'll have to pick between taking on the guards or continuing your pursuit. Take advantage of all of your mobility talents, not just your Travel Ability, to keep up with Beatrice, who is fairly swift. Ultimate Abilities and Weapon Skills are particularly effective in this situation.
Cotton Yarn uses
Cotton Yarn can be made for 20 cottons after you've built your Loom. The yarn can then be used to make cloth armor, specifically the Hollowfang armor set, at a Tailoring Bench. For most players, this set should provide a nice boost in power over a well-worn set of Nightstalker gear. Cotton Yarn is also required to make a Hunter's Cloak, which provides some health and sun resistance.
