Destiny 2: How to Complete Bound in Sorrow Week 3 Quests
Season of the Haunted is officially in its third week, which means new steps in the Destiny 2 Bound in Sorrow questline, which has already entered Phase 3, are now accessible to complete. If you've been following the Bound in Sorrow questline since the start of Destiny 2 Season 17, you already know where we're at right now. We assisted Crow in getting rid of Nightmares during the first two weeks. We had to grind some Vestiges of Dread and complete a few Nightmare Containment ranks on Moon first. Crow was ultimately set free of Nightmares after doing this twice for two distinct Rituals. Guardians are now waiting for Eris to contact them in order to finish the Bound in Sorrow questline. Eris should be back soon with a fresh adventure for us at the HELM. So, Guardian, let's get this party started!
Destiny 2 Bound in Sorrow Week 3 Quests
Step 15 – Return to Eris at the Crown of Sorrow in the HELM
Simply see Eris in Crown of Sorrow at HELM to learn more about your next quest in Bound in Sorrow.
Step 16 – Complete Tiers of Nightmare Containment and Create a Bound Presence
You must return to Derelict Leviathan and complete three stages of Nightmare Containment, just like you did in the prior steps. You must also proceed next to the Harvester at the end of Tier 3 and make a Bind Vestiges of Dread, which requires at least 500 Vestiges of Dread. If you don't have enough Vestiges of Dread already, make sure to get some in Nightmare Containment or other activities like Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit.
Step 17 – Travel to the Underbelly of Leviathan with Zavala
Open your map and travel to Moon to begin the Sever quest. When you first start the mission, you'll come upon an electrified platform directly at the entrance to a facility. That is not the path to choose! Returning the way you came, you'll find a narrow path directly in front of the first tree. After killing a few foes, continue on your path until you approach a stuck door. You should put something here. If you do it, the door will open. Continue down the hall until you reach an Egregore plant at the end. To be affected, shoot it and then proceed to the door in the middle of the corridor.
You'll find a wrench at the end of the new corridor, but you won't be able to take it back because the Egregore effect is no longer active. As a result, you must choose a different path. Examine the corridor above the electrified platform's door. A sequence of valves will return you to the original corridor, where you can reactivate Egregore's effect, open the door, and bring the wrench to the desired location. The photographs below can aid you in your search for the passage. When stepping on top of the valves, make sure to crouch.
Disable the electricity with the wrench and proceed to the designated area. Place the next amplifier before proceeding to the new hall, where you must eliminate all attackers. After that, proceed upwards by following the marked areas. Keep in mind that some of the platforms are difficult to navigate because they are constantly locked and opened. As a result, make sure to move quickly through this area.
Zavala awaits you at the summit. After that, go on your way and install the final amplifier. You'll now find yourself in a maintenance-like area with an Egregore plant at the end. Shoot it to be affected, then turn around and look down till you see a blue hole, then fall off. You can now begin the ritual, which consists of three parts in which you must battle a boss. This step will be completed once the boss has been defeated.
Step 18 – Meet Zavala at the Tower
Return to the Tower and speak with Commander Zavala about the ritual's events.
Step 19 – Meet Eris in the HELM
Get some information on Zavala's past at the HELM.
Step 20 – Speak With Eris at Crown of Sorrow
You will receive your prizes for completing this questline, and Bound in Sorrow is now complete. More steps will be unlocked on Tuesday.
