Destiny 2: How to fix Synthweave not working

At the moment, Synthweave in Destiny 2 isn't operating properly. In Destiny 2, players can employ Synthweave items to change any piece of previously acquired armor into an ornament, which is a cosmetic item that can be put to any other piece of the same sort of armor. That system is currently not functioning as intended, but there appears to be a workaround. Everything you need to know about Destiny 2 Synthweave not working can be found right here.

DESTINY 2 SYNTHWEAVE: WHAT ISN’T WORKING

You may access the look customization menu by scrolling down in Destiny 2's character menu. This is a fairly new feature, having only been added to the game last year. This menu serves as a one-stop-shop for all armor customization requirements. You can modify the appearance and color of each of your armor parts from here.

Players that try to use Synthweave in this menu don't seem to obtain any results. You can change a previously obtained piece of gear into an armor ornament, and you'll usually have to spend some Synthweave to do so. This system, however, is currently broken, preventing players from creating new decorations.

DESTINY 2 SYNTHWEAVE NOT WORKING: HOW TO FIX

It appears that the only way to solve this situation is to return to the old ways. Players can still make and apply embellishments to their armor by heading to the individual armor sites. It's a little more difficult to do, but it works. For the time being, it appears that gamers will have to customize their armor the old-fashioned way.

Some players have also reported being able to make ornaments by merely keeping the button down for longer than is usually required. The progress meter will fill up if you hold the button down while creating an ornament, but the ornament will not be generated when the meter fills. Holding the press down for a few seconds longer than the meter advises appears to be a viable option for making your ornament.

Bungie is aware of the problem and is undoubtedly trying to remedy it. In the interim, you can continue making armor ornaments for your Guardians with these methods. After all, fashion is the most significant aspect of the game.
