Elden Ring: How To Solve The Statue of Radagon

Elden Ring is riddled with secrets and puzzles that might be challenging to solve. The solutions to these puzzles are usually discovered by chance, while there are tips in-game to point Tarnished in the correct path. The Statue of Radagon is one of these puzzles, one that may be solved in a matter of minutes with a little thought and the correct Prayerbook. If you've gotten to the Statue of Radagon in Elden Ring, you're probably familiar enough with the story of Goldmask and Corhyn to figure out what the puzzle's solution means. If you haven't talked to Miriel at the Church of Vows or progressed their questline to Leyndell, don't solve the Statue of Radagon puzzle because the reveal will be less meaningful without the context provided in a chat with these NPCs.

Where Is The Statue Of Radagon In Leyndell?

After conquering the golden shade of Godfrey, the Statue of Radagon can be discovered pretty deep within Leyndell, the Royal Capital. To reach an elevator, descend the curved steps from the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Lost Grace. Take the elevator down, defeat a few opponents, and you'll notice a gigantic Statue of Radagon T-posing over the Royal Capital against the high wall. It's one thing to know where the statue is; it's another to figure out what it's hiding. Fortunately, the solution is close by. Most players, however, will need to respec and return to Rennala in order to apply this solution: the Golden Order Principia Prayerbook.

How To Solve The Statue of Radagon Puzzle

To obtain the Golden Order Principia Prayerbook, you must progress to the Erdtree Sanctuary's second level. Step outside, east of the Erdtree Sanctuary sanctuary, and climb up to the second-floor balcony on a huge vine. Climb carefully up here, then turn right to return to the outside. If you gaze up from the Site of Grace below, you can see this Prayerbook hanging from the ceiling if you jump off the railing to your left and enter via a broken window.

Give Corhyn or Miriel the Prayerbook, and learn the Law of Regression Incantation. The term Regression is hinted at by the clue placed outside the Statue of Radagon, and casting the spell in front of the Statue reveals its secret. As a Golden Order Incantation, Law of Regression is based on Int rather than Faith, unlike most Incantations. Players must have a Sacred Seal and at least 37 Int to cast it. Stand in front of the statue, cast the Incantation, and uncover the secret that the sculptor of the second Elden Lord kept hidden.
