Elden Ring: How To Get Goldmask's Set

Elden Ring has a variety of fantastic helmets and headpieces, but none are as flamboyant as the Radiant Gold Mask worn by the eponymous, ever-brilliant Goldmask. This chatty, vivacious figure dresses simply to contrast the extravagant mask in an outfit that every Faith player will undoubtedly envy. Unlike other NPCs in Elden Ring, players do not need to kill Goldmask to obtain his gear. Instead, his mask and clothes can be acquired in two places: the mask can be found near the start of his questline, while the rest of his outfit can be found near the finish.

Goldmask's Armor Set Passive Effects 

Goldmask's Armor Set is more like clothing than armor. Goldmask spends his days wiggling his finger and researching the Golden Order, so he doesn't have much time for Elden Bling. It's ironic, then, that he has Elden Ring's most recognizable headpiece. The Radiant Gold Mask can be quite useful for some builds, even though the rest of his armor set has no passive benefits.

The passive bonus of the Radiant Gold Mask is a 10% increase in Golden Order Incantations. Many variants of Rings of Light, Order Healing and Law of Regression, and Order's Blade and Immutable Shield can be found in Fundamentalist Incantations. Because many Golden Order Incantations are rigid debuffs that don't scale, the Radiant Gold Mask only enhances damage output for the Rings spells and the effectiveness of Immutable Shield and Order's Blade for players aiming for a 50/50 Faith/Int ratio.

How To Get Goldmask's Armor Set (And The Radiant Gold Mask)

The Radiant Gold Mask may be found independently from Goldmask's basic armor set. On the Altus Plateau, look for part of a great bridge jutting out over the landscape on the north side of the Writheblood Ruins and the sunken region. At the end of the bridge, players face Goldmask for the first time. Drop down to the lower platforms to discover the Radiant Gold Mask on a body - don't go all the way down or you'll miss it because it's on one of these ledges.

The remaining pieces of Goldmask's armor set can be obtained at the very end of his mission. Without giving too much away about Elden Ring's endgame, Goldmask's armor is found near the Leyndell Colosseum for the second time after the Royal Capital has moved. If you've solved the Statue of Radagon puzzle and progressed his questline past the Mountaintops of Giants, Goldmask will reappear here.
