Final Fantasy XIV: How to get the Hippo Cart mount

In Final Fantasy XIV, you can locate a number of mounts for your character to ride around on. Unfortunately, many of these mounts need you to accomplish difficult quests or complete lengthy trials and quest chains before they can be added to your account. How to unlock the Hippo Cart

The Arkasodara Tribal quests are the key to success. Complete the quest chains for Steppe Child and What's in a Parent to unlock these quests. After finishing the Endwalker campaign, both of these tasks become available. After that, you can speak with Ogul at X:25.6, Y36.1 to begin this set of missions for Steppe Child. After that, you'll want to complete the What's in a Parent quest chain, which starts with Yezahn at X:29.2 and Y:15.3, just north of Palaka's Stand.

Completing Arkasodara Tribal quests

After completing those two quest chains, speak with Kancana to begin the most crucial quest: Hippos Born to Run. That can be found in X:25.3 and Y:31.2, and it's here that you can start working on the Arkasodara tribal missions. Three of these quests can be completed per day, earning you a reputation with this group.

By performing these objectives every day, you'll gain a reputation and eventually be able to unlock the Hippo Cart by purchasing it from the seller. By rising through the ranks of the organization to Sworn, you will have access to all of the items offered to the seller. Each time you improve your group's reputation, you'll be given three more quests to accomplish, allowing you to improve it even more. When you obtain access to the Hippo Cart on the seller, you'll need to spend 18 Arkasodara Pana to purchase it, which will take some time and effort.
