Final Fantasy XIV: How to start the Endwalker Hildibrand story side quest

Since the release of A Realm Reborn, the Hildibrand tale has been the most popular sidequest story in Final Fantasy XIV. It has grown in popularity to the point where Square Enix normally continues the story in each expansion. Because of the pandemic's development problems, Hildibrand did not receive any material for the first time in Shadowbringers. Thankfully, Patch 6.15 continues this funny story.

How to unlock the Hildibrand quest chain

To begin the Endwalker Hildibrand quest, players must first complete Endwalker's main campaign as well as all of the side missions that have led up to this point in his journey. Players who are just starting this chain should speak with Wymond at X:9.8 Y:8.7 in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald to obtain the quest The Rise and Fall of Gentlemen, which requires a level 50 discipline in battle or magic. This chain can then be followed all the way to the finish.

Hildibrand's travels were expanded in Heavensward. After completing the previous chain, level 60 players can speak with Nashu Mhakaracca in Ishgard at X:5.9 Y:9.9 to acquire the task A Gentleman Falls, Rather Than Flies. To continue, you must complete all of the tasks in this chain. The A Hingan Tale: Nashu Goes East quest from the Conspicuously Inconspicuous Man at X:10.6 Y:9.8 in Kugane permitted level 70 players to continue the story. Following through on this and completing the Don't Do the Dewprism quest will bring the player up to speed with the Endwalker story.

Where to start the Endwalker Hildibrand quest

Players can locate an Excitable Youth at X:11.8 Y:11.2 in Radz-at-Han once the preceding requirements are completed. He will provide the first mission in the Hildibrand Endwalker tale, The Sleeping Gentleman, to level 90 discipline of war or magic jobs. The chain will currently terminate after two quests, but it will very certainly continue in future releases.
