MLB The Show 22: How to complete Angels City Connect and Shohei Ohtani Player Program

Another Nike City Connect jersey from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim has been added to MLB The Show 22 by San Diego Studios. This new jersey is now available in Diamond Dynasty, and it requires the completion of a new program to earn. The jersey, as well as a new Shohei Ohtani card and some XP toward the Future of the Franchise program, are available to users. You will need 50 points to complete this program completely. The following are the benefits that can be achieved as a result of participating in this program:

• 10 Points – MLB The Show 22 pack
• 20 Points – Angels City Connect profile icon
• 30 Points – Topps Now Shohei Ohtani (92 OVR)
• 35 Points – Headliners Set 17 pack
• 40 Points – Nike City Connect Equipment item and 500 Stubs
• 45 Points – MLB The Show 22 pack (x5)
• 50 Points – Angels City Connect Jersey and 1,000 Stubs

The Angels City Connect jersey is the main prize for this program. However, there is another significant prize attainable through this program: a Shohei Ohtani with a 92 OVR. This version of Ohtani is a hitter-only version, which means you can only use him in the outfield.

You should aim to accomplish the following to reach the 50-point mark on the cleanest path:

• Finish the six moments (25 pts.)
• Complete the following five Angels Parallel PXP Missions for a total of 27 points:

• Tally 350 PXP in Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest with Shohei Ohtani's 92 OVR (10 pts.)
• In Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest, get 250 PXP with Angels (2 pts.)
• In Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest, get 500 PXP with Angels (3 pts.)
• In Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest, get 1,000 PXP with Angels (5 pts.)
• In Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest, get 1,500 PXP with Angels (7 pts.)

This Program has two exchanges, although they can be bypassed in favor of the Missions and Moments, just like the others in the City Connect series. Unless you don't want to fulfill some of the Moments, of course. By making the two exchanges, one for Angels players (3 pts.) and the other for AL West (6 pts.) players, up to two of the Moments can be bypassed. Skipping those Exchanges, on the other hand, will save you some Stubs.

Putting together a squad of Angels players and playing Conquest or Mini Seasons with those cards is arguably the best approach to fulfill the Missions. You'll be able to grind without the stress of online play and progress through several Conquests and/or Mini Seasons as a result. After that, once you've unlocked the Ohtani, add him to your lineup. Users who finish the program and get the Angels City Connect jersey will earn 15,000 XP toward the Future of the Franchise Featured Program.
