As previously stated, each character in the game has five distinct attributes. Some characters will have high-ranking stats, while others will have low-ranking ones. Bowser, for example, has high strength and shooting stat but is far slower than the other characters in the game. Here are all of the characteristics to keep an eye out for:

Strength: This metric determines how powerful your character is. With a high-strength stat, your character will be more resistant to being tackled. This ability also boosts the strength of their tackle. Bowser, Rosalina, Donkey Kong, and Wario are all strong characters.

Speed: Speed is one of the most fundamental traits, affecting only your character's running speed on the field. Waluigi, Toad, and Peach are all fast characters.

Shooting: This statistic impacts the strength of your shots when attempting to score a goal. The chance of the ball flying past Boom Boom is determined by the shooting characteristic. This characteristic also increases the likelihood that your shots will stun Boom Boom, allowing you to get a follow-up shot. Characters with a strong shooting stat include Yoshi, Wario, and Rosalina.

Passing: It takes a team to make a dream come true. The passing attribute is used in this case. The passing stat boosts the speed with which you can pass the ball. The range at which you can make a free pass is likewise determined by this stat. Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Luigi, for example, all have a high passing stat.

Technique: One of the most significant metrics you may focus on is your character's technique. The accuracy of your shots and the amount of curve you put on the ball improves when you have a high technique stat. This characteristic not only affects your shooting but also makes perfect maneuvers easier to complete. To top it off, the technique has an effect on the Hyper Strike meter, making Hyper Strikes easier to execute.

How to change your attributes

By equipping different gear sets to your character, you can adjust their stats. Sets like Muscle Gear and Cannon Gear are meant to boost one stat while lowering another. Make sure you don't reduce another stat too much, or you'll find it difficult to keep up on the field. Each of your character's bodily parts can be equipped with one piece of gear. Make sure you've got the right stuff to help your character out on the battlefield. It's usually preferable to focus on what they're good at while simultaneously improving their weaker attributes.
