City Connect is a new program in MLB The Show 22 that features a new alternate set of MLB uniforms, which was added this year. Sony San Diego has been drip-feeding the remainder of the teams to us after an initial program with seven teams. We're here to break down the most recent of these programs and get you feeling like you're on a rocky mountain high as you complete each aim.

Colorado City Connect program breakdown

Before we get started, it's worth noting that this program contains a multi-game segment. Multi-game moments can be really volatile, and if you're not performing well, you might want to restart the entire series. To do so, simply press "R1" on the Playstation, "RB" on the Xbox, or "ZR" on the Switch when outside of the game to access this prompt. Let's have a look at the benefits now.
  • 10 Points: MLB The Show 22 pack (x1)
  • 20 Points: Rockies City Connect Profile Icon
  • 30 Points: 89 OVR All-Star Charlie Blackmon
  • 35 Points: Headliners Set 9 pack
  • 40 Points: Rockies City Connect Bat and 500 Stubs
  • 45 Points: MLB The Show pack (x5)
  • 50 Points: Rockies City Connect Jersey and 1,000 Stubs

Acquiring points

  • Finish moments (25 points)

Finishing the six moments earns you 25 points, just like the other programs. These are all rookie levels, and aside from the last multi-game moment, shouldn't take too long. Let's look at your other possibilities as you still need five more points to get Blackmon.

  • Rockies PXP Missions (27 points)

  • Tally 500 PXP with 89 OVR Charlie Blackmon in Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest (10 points).
  • Tally 250 PXP with the Rockies in Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest (2 points).
  • Tally 500 PXP with the Rockies in Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest (3 pts.)
  • Tally 1,000 PXP with the Rockies in Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest (5 pts.)
  • Tally 1,500 PXP with the Rockies in Ranked Seasons, Battle Royale, Events, Play vs. CPU, Mini Seasons, or Conquest (7 pts.)
To get Blackmon, you can either earn 500 total PXP with Rockies players or conduct a trade. If you're ready to deal in certain NL West players, you can get Blackmon after finishing the Moments for a six-point swap. We typically don't recommend trading anything in your binder, but we're approaching a time of year when such trades are less risky. Because Blackmon is a position player, he will earn less PXP over time than someone like Bret Saberhagen, hence this program will take longer. When you're finished, make sure to check out the Future of the Franchise program guide to win even more incentives.
