As the limited series came to an end, viewers hoped to learn the release date for Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2. The Mandalorian, the seventh season of Clone Wars, and the Rogue One prequel Andor are among the Star Wars programs that are only available on Disney+. The Obi-Wan show follows in their footsteps. Now that the first season's episodes have all been broadcast, what will happen to the show moving forward?

Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2 Release date

Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2 has not yet been given a release date. A second season of the program hasn't yet been officially announced. It's probable that it may continue to be a limited series and no new episodes will be made. It is not unusual because it is what The Book of Boba Fett appears to be going through. The likelihood of Reva getting her own series is higher. It is clear that Disney is extensively promoting the character. Disney has, however, been ready to cut its losses with the series, as we witnessed when Solo's underwhelming performance forced management to reevaluate its plans for subsequent movies. If there is a second season, it will probably come after a while. Seasons of Andor, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and Skeleton Crew will debut on Disney Plus during the course of the upcoming year. In addition, Taika Waititi's anthology movie Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will also be released in 2023. Therefore, it goes without saying that Star Wars will be completely saturated, leaving little opportunity for the second season of Obi-Wan. Additionally, there haven't been any disclosures about Obi-Wan Kenobi's future. As Anakin Skywalker in Ahsoka, Hayden Christiansen might be present throughout the filming of a second season. We are aware of his and Ewan McGregor's openness to reprising their roles. However, neither have made any references to season two of Kenobi.

Obi-Wan All things considered, Kenobi seems to wrap up the majority of the loose ends. By the time the film's climax rolled around, Obi-Wan had returned to Tatooine and was there with Qui-Force Gon's ghost. He even had time to say hello to Luke for a while, using the catchphrase "Hello there!" Darth Vader was instructed by his master, Palpatine, to leave Obi-Wan behind and concentrate on other problems while Leia was back on Alderaan, secure with the Organa family. Obi-Wan had the chance to kill Darth Vader during their final battle, but he refused to do so because he didn't think it was proper for a Jedi to do so.  

Luke Skywalker would eventually adopt the same philosophy as him because of the mercy he displayed. After giving up her lightsaber and leaving the Empire behind, Reva may have a tale to tell. What about her next destination? Could she play a supporting role in one of the planned spinoffs? Leia's character development and the role she played in forging the Rebel Alliance may potentially be revealed. We wouldn't be surprised to see a time jump if Obi-Wan Kenobi did make a comeback so that Leia could age a little bit.
