There are several Pokémon in Pokémon Go that you must catch for the Pokémon TCG: Crossover event. These will be for the Collection Challenges that will be taking place during this time, and you can earn exclusive rewards by collecting or trading these Pokémon. Dragonite will be one of these Pokémon, and it will be difficult to encounter. Here's everything you need to know about catching Dragonite during the Pokémon TCG Crossover in Pokémon Go.

Where to find Dragonite during Pokémon TCG: Crossover

Dragonite for the TCG: Crossover Advanced Collection can be found in two places. Three-star raids will be the first. You'll need to wait for a raid egg to emerge at any of the Gyms in your area, and then wait until it hatches to check whether it's Dragonite or if it's a three-star rank. If you come across Dragonite, use your daily Raid Pass to fight it, bring a friend or two to help you beat it, and then catch it at the end. Although you'll still need nee at the conclusion of the encounter to grab Dragonite, this is probably the best way to do so.

PokéStops to earn Field Research jobs are the second thing you should look for while looking for a Dragonite. For the Pokémon Trading Card Game, there are Field Research activities that are only available during the event. The "Catch 40 Pokémon" Field Research assignments are a crossover that rewards you with a Dragonite encounter. If the one you get asks you to collect 40 Pokémon and has a border around it showing it's for the event, you know it's the right one. It may, however, be a Snorlax or Slaking encounter. Any of these three Pokémon encounters can be used as a prize.

You won't be able to find a Dragonite during the Pokémon TCG: Crossover unless you use one of these two techniques. Unfortunately, transforming your Dragonair into a Dragonite isn't a valid option.
