Pokémon Go: How to complete the TCG Crossover Kanto Collection Challenge

In Pokémon Go, the TCG Crossover event allows you to complete numerous challenges themed on Pokémon from the upcoming Pokémon TCG collection. These challenges will be difficult to come by, and you'll want to go out of your way to find them in your neighborhood. We'll go through how to finish the TCG Crossover: Kanto Collection in Pokémon Go and where to get all of the Pokémon in this tutorial.

All TCG Crossover: Kanto Collection Pokémon

The Pokémon from the Kanto Collection will appear in the wild, with some of them appearing in raids. The best method to find them is to look in your neighborhood. From June 16 to 30, the TCG Crossover event will take place. All of the Pokémon you'll need to catch, as well as the awards you'll obtain, are listed here.
  • Catch an Ivysaur
  • Catch a Charmeleon
  • Catch a Wartortle
  • Catch a Venusaur
  • Catch a Charizard
  • Catch a Blastoise
Rewards: 10,000 XP and an incubator

Pokémon to catch

Ivysaur, Charmeleon, and Wartortle will be the first three Pokémon to appear in the wild. You can discover them by wandering around your area, putting incense on your character to attract them, or placing a lure module on a PokéStop and waiting for them to come to you.

Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, the final three, will not emerge in ordinary raids or in the wild. The only method to catch them is to fight and defeat them in Mega Raids, which include Mega versions of these Pokémon. Throughout the event, Mega Blastoise, Mega Charizard, and Mega Venusaur will emerge, as well as in the Field Research mission, Catch 25 Pokémon. To finish a Mega raid and catch these Pokémon, you and a companion must work together.

Although the Kanto Collection Challenge appears to be simple at first appearance, catching the final three Pokémon will be difficult. Mega raids are some of the hardest content to complete for many players, thus we encourage forming a team for each combat.
