Should you get Pokémon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet?

It all boils down to exclusives when it comes to deciding which Pokémon edition you should acquire before the game arrives. When a Pokémon game is released, it comes with two games, each with its own set of Pokémon. To get all of them, you'll need to trade with someone who has the other version or buy both games. Should you buy Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet if you only have two choices?

Pokémon Scarlet

At this moment, we don't know what exclusives will be available for Pokémon Scarlet. We'll be able to compare the two versions more when we acquire more details leading up to the official release date for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet (SV). We do know, however, that in Pokémon Scarlet, you will have the opportunity to meet and catch the legendary featured Pokémon, Koraidon.

Pokémon Violet

We don't know what exclusives are available in Pokémon Violet yet. We can't compare them to the ones in Pokémon Scarlet, so it's tough to give specific reasons why you should choose one over the other. However, we do know which legendary will be available in these two games, with Miraidon being given to Pokémon Violet players.

It's down to legendary decisions right now. Whether you like Koraidon or Miraidon, the choice is yours. Closer to the November 18th official release date of SV, we may expect to hear more news about Pokémon exclusives. When we do, we'll update this guide to better compare these two solutions.
