Pokemon Go: Can Spinarak be shiny?

Today is Spinarak's Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour, and fans will be pleased to learn that it can be Shiny and that it has an evolution. Trainers have had a great month in June. The TCG crossover event will continue on June 22nd with a Mewtwo Raid hour, as well as a Dino Community Day on June 25th. While Dino Community Day is fantastic, don't forget about the penultimate SH in June.

IS THERE A SHINY SPINARAK IN POKEMON GO?

During the Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event, Spinarak can be Shiny. The event begins at 18:00 local time on June 21st and ends at 19:00 local time on June 22nd. The creature is of the Bug and Poison types and is vulnerable to Flying, Rock, Fire, and Psychic attacks in equal measure. It has a maximum CP of 923, with 105 ATK, 73 DEF, and 120 STA, and is boosted by rain and cloudy conditions.

EVOLUTION

Ariados is its evolution, which requires 50 Candy. The weaknesses of the Johto creatures are the same as in their base form, but their maximum CP is 2,003, with 161 ATK, 124 DEF, and 172 STA. Rainy and cloudy weather also help it, while Poison Sting and Cross Poison are two of its finest techniques.
