What Is Slaking’s Weakness In Pokemon GO?

Slaking is a normal type with the Fighting-type as his weakness from previous entries in the Pokemon series. This is Slaking's lone flaw, as he is simply a regular type. This seems fantastic because you just have to deal with one kind, but being a normal type also means he isn't resistant to most other types except one. Powerful Fighting-type Pokemon like Machamp are excellent counters to Slaking.

While I previously stated that Slaking's Fighting-type vulnerability was carried over from previous games, Slaking's resistance is slightly different from that of past titles. Slaking had already been shown to be immune to Ghost-types as a Normal-type. Although Pokemon GO includes immunity, this resistance type does not completely negate the damage. Instead, Pokemon will be immune to these attacks, dealing just minor damage but still causing harm. With that said, Slaking's lone Pokemon GO resistance is his immunity to Ghost kinds.
