How to catch Amaura

You'll need to go out and find Amaura in a few different methods. This Pokémon can be found in the wild as part of a Field Research mission, or you may be able to hatch it from any 7km eggs you receive as gifts from your friends. Of the three alternatives, you'll have a fair probability of running into Amaura in the wild. Adding incense to your character and wandering around or setting a lure on a PokéStop will boost your chances of locating this Pokémon. Both of these methods are effective at luring this Pokémon to your position, resulting in more captures while exploring your surroundings.

Having a 7km egg in an incubator that you obtained from a friend after June 7 is another good approach to maybe catch an Amaura when you're out walking. Unfortunately, hatching this Pokémon is a two-tiered possibility, so it's a rare find. Finally, during Adventure Week, special Field Research chores will grant you an Amaura encounter. To ensure you receive this encounter, you'll want to go after a certain one. You can evolve an Amaura into an Aurorus after catching enough of them.
