Raft: How to fish and get fishing bait
Redbeet's survival game Raft now has fishing bait as one of the numerous goods added when early access ended, but you can't just build it yourself. Raft requires you to construct a brand-new machine in order to obtain fishing bait, but the effort is worthwhile. At the Trading Post, you can trade fish for a brand-new item that will earn you uncommon goodies.
How do you get fishing bait in Raft?
The Trading Post sells fishing bait, which costs Trash Cubes. Since most Trading Posts only have a few pieces of fishing bait available due to the fact that it is the end of the world, you will need to visit other Trading Posts if you want to stock up on bait. One Trash Cube will get you one piece of fishing bait. You must first construct the Recycler in order to obtain Trarsh Cubes. Once you have the bait, you can decide where to fish based on it. This is not the same as shark bait, which requires that you have some fish on hand in order to make it.
