The Quarry: What does evidence do?

The Quarry offers a wide range of treasures, but the evidence is its own category. At some point throughout the night, the counselors will realize they need documentation of all that happened to them. However, once you begin gathering evidence, you will discover that you are unable to evaluate it yourself. Other hints reveal fresh facts and legends, but the evidence is simply ticked off a list as you acquire it. It does, however, serve a purpose. How do you gather evidence?

The first thing you should understand is how evidence is gathered. The majority of the parts are obtained in the same way as other collectibles, with the character picking up an object in the surroundings. Others require special acts to discover – for a complete list, check our guide on how to get all evidence in The Quarry. There are 10 parts, with one to discover in each chapter, omitting the prologue.

What evidence does

In fact, the rewards of your labors will be revealed (or rather, heard) during the epilogue. The Quarry’s credits roll over an image of Travis Hackett’s computer, which will be playing an episode of the Bizarre Yet Bonafide podcast – the same one Ryan was listening to at the start of the game. Depending on how much proof you've gathered, the hosts of the show will have a different conversation. Find the majority, and the game's skeptic will believe all you said during the game. You'll gain an extra trophy/achievement for sitting through the entire show if you find all 10 pieces.
