America's Got Talent on NBC: Meet Acapop KIDS, a Capella group with members under the age of 17
Being a musical act on "America's Got Talent" is not straightforward. If you really want to impress the judges, in particular Simon Cowell, you need to make an impression and distinguish yourself. However, the show can genuinely change your life if you have the talent and motivation to support your passion.
Who are Acapop! KIDS in America's Got Talent?
Acapop! was founded by Scott Hoying of the Cappella group Pentatonix. Acapella group KIDS has members who are under the age of 17. Adam Nagai, Alana Cruz-Ehrlich, Alana Zene-Smith, Alexander D'Alesio, Aliyah Mastin, Aubree Archibeck, Audrey Cymone, Ava Grace, Bri'Anna Harper, Camila Rodriguez, Camryn Quinlan, Celine Ngo, Eliza Pryor, Emily Taylor Kaufman, Ethan Hanzlik, Fabiana Aguirre, Frankie McNellis, Griffin Salerno, Harvey Baker Jr. Lizzy "Ultrasonic" Newell, Liliana "Lulu" Tani, Mateo Martinez, McKenzie Mack, Naisha R Kadiveti, Nick Mangiaratti, Naren Yalamanchili, Neeraj Yalamanchili, Ryann Barnes, Samuel Parker, Sydney Sterlace, Tanner Massey, and Zoey Siewert.
Celine Ngo, Jaden Coronado, Adam Nagai, Eliza Pryor, Neeraj Yalamanchili, Aubree Archibeck, Gage Butler, and Kelvin Dukes performed as part of the 'AGT' group. On August 18, 2020, Nolan Gibbons, the group's beatboxer, died in his sleep from SUDC, or sudden unexplained death in childhood. From a young age, Gibbons was devoted to music, and at the age of nine, he started performing in his community. He even went on to triumph in 2017's "New England's Got Talent." According to Fun107, Gibbons' family holds the annual NolanFest music event on Marion's Silvershell Beach as a way to pay tribute to him.
Acapop! KIDS also continued to pay tribute to him while also sharing their profound sadness in an Instagram post. "We are heartbroken to say goodbye to our beloved Nolan Gibbons, who passed away yesterday. Nolan was an exceptionally talented singer, beatboxer, and musician — but above all, he was the kindest friend. He embodied everything we aspire to be. Nolan brought joy, curiosity, and warmth wherever he went and his energy was infectious. We will miss him dearly and we will love him forever. The Acapop! KIDS family is strong and resilient and filled with empathy, care and compassion. Nolan and his wonderful parents will forever be a part of this family. We love you, Nolan."
